Bio: 

I’m over 50 (gasp) closer to 60 Grandma to 6 little humans, friend, and wife of 40 years. I was always told I had a “rebellious spirit” as if that was a bad thing. I am only sorry now it took me so long, and a lot of life lived to see that it is actually a good thing and a gift. Welcome to my little corner of the world.

I’m someone who has always been drawn to the places where nature, healing, spirituality, and everyday life meet. My path has included an informal practice of mental health counseling and spiritual counseling, while my love of plants and natural living has led me to become an herbal practitioner as well.

But there is so much more to who we are than meets the eye.

Here, you’ll find pieces of the things that bring me joy and meaning, my garden, herbs, recipes, nature, spirituality, and the thoughts and lessons that life continues to teach me. Some days I may be talking about something growing in the garden. Other days, it might be a recipe from my kitchen, the spiritual meaning I find in a season or moon, or simply a reflection about life, healing, relationships, and becoming more fully ourselves.

I believe there is something deeply healing about slowing down enough to notice the small things like a flower opening, herbs growing beneath your hands, the comfort of preparing food from scratch, the changing seasons, or a quiet moment when you finally hear your own thoughts.

My spirituality is rooted in curiosity, connection, nature, and a little bit of magic. I believe healing can take many forms, and that sometimes the most meaningful wisdom is found in the ordinary moments we might otherwise overlook.

This website is a collection of those moments and a place to share what I’m learning, what I’m growing, what I’m creating, and what I’m thinking about along the way.
